A Jogging stroller is characterised by the following features:

But as most things in life - there are 2 sides to the coin. All these amazing features that turns the stroller suitable for jogging also introduce some restrictions which might express as drawbacks… A jogging stroller is *usually*:
  • Heavier compared to Lightweight Stroller, but not necessarily much heavier than Full Size stroller
  • Not compact - both when open or folded
  • Not compatible with a carrycot
  • Not machine washable, since the seat fabrics can’t be detached
If you aren’t the jogging type, but plan on strolling a lot on difficult terrains such as grass, sand, etc… a jogging stroller might come handy as well, since it will for sure be the best to handle such lands, but perhaps it is not a definitive choice, since there are other considerations that play a bigger role in your decision.
